Blakeley Basics preschool offers a fun and nurturing, play based curriculum that encourages and supports the interests of each individual child.   The small group setting encourages plenty of open-ended play through building and creative art to develop cognitive abilities as the child is allowed to explore freely.  Math and science concepts are fostered with a dedicated Science  and Math Center with hands-on activities to increase problem solving skills.  We also read everyday and love the power of books to develop the imagination, literacy, and pre-reading skills.  Outdoor play in the fresh air is another essential part of Blakeley Basics, as is social-emotional development, mutual respect and cooperation.
